Abstract: In the Libi block vertical well gas production is low, cannot satisfy the capacity construction mission, through analysis Libi block the geology, reservoir characteristics and its neighboring blocks of different types of discharge and mining data, it is recommended the L-type horizontal wells as production wells. The productivity prediction of L horizontal well was carried out by the correlation prediction software, The results showed that the L type horizontal well gas production is well, gas production is 3133.23~22499.7 m3/d, average gas production is 8415.35 m3/d, after the end of the production period, L type horizontal well cumulative production volume is 45.4 x 106 m3. The investment cost of the L horizontal well is ￥ 15.7 million more than that of the vertical well, but the cumulative gas production of the L type horizontal well is much higher than that of the straight well, the total income is larger, and the economic benefit is higher. The comparison indicates that L type horizontal wells average unit operation cost is lower than that of straight wells, a difference is ￥ 0.01/m. According to the relevant cash flow table to calculate the after tax financial evaluation indicators, investment L type horizontal well profitability is much stronger, investment recovery period is shorter, can achieve better economic benefits.
